To be a liberal you must:
1. "Feel", but never think.
2. Convince yourself that it is okay to suck a baby into a sink and rip it to shreds.
3. Be afraid to stand up to the bullies in the world.
4. Be more afraid of a gun in the hand of an honest citizen than in the hand of the government.
5. Put a higher value on non-human life than human life.
6. Support "womb-to-the-tomb" government control over your life.
7. Believe that blacks and Hispanics are too stupid to succeed in life all on their own.
8. That all Christians, especially southern white men, are racist, bigoted, homophobes.

Absolutely not.
1. To be a liberal, you have to be thinking, otherwise you'd be conservative.
2. Murder is murder, no matter the age.
3. I stand up to all the idiotic bullies here on yahoo, as well as some of the biggest I know. (my family)
4. One should always fear the gun in the hand of the government. After all, that's what keeps people in repressive dictatorships.
5. I wholeheartedly support human life, which is why I'm against abortion, the death penalty, and war in general.
6. I don't know what you mean by womb-to-tomb, but if it referring to abortion, I am against that.
7. This point is just idiotic. The stupidest people I have ever known were white, and some of the smartest black and Hispanic.
8. This point is also idiotic, though mainly because it is a generalization. My husband, by the way, is Christian.
Yet I am still a liberal.

I disagree because liberals are not a monolithic group that accept a set of political propositions as one package, where all progressive positions must be accepted or not at all. You know the same thing could be asked of you in reverse.

1. Assent to what your Pastor or Fox feels are the “facts”, but never think for yourself.
2. Convince yourself that it is not okay to abort a baby inside the womb, but it is okay to kill that baby outside of the womb and his parents in bombing raids in Iraq.
3. The U.S. must bully only nations it knows it can defeat, like Iraq, when there are great threats, and human rights violations coming from formidable opponents like North Korea and China; nations we are too cowardly to address.
4. Be more afraid that there are other resolutions to solving the crime problem in this country than equipping everyone with a gun so that this country can turn into a Wild Western picture.
5. Put a higher value on oil profits and global hegemony than on life, especially foreign life.
6. Support “bedroom to schoolroom” government control over your life.
7. Believe that blacks and Hispanics are credulous enough to be suckered into your race baiting schemes.
8. That all Christian men should ignore Christ’s mandate to be peaceful and charitable, and that one must do their part to bring about Armageddon, and also turn this place into a theocracy.

WHO has gotten you to believe this non-sense .I am liberal as hell and not one of the things you mention do i support .This is simply garbage spewed out by people who have no understanding of liberals but rather the radical few that the conservative media portrays.
Why would you believe such garbage .You must only accept the things you see and hear in the media if you can say that liberals want to kill the developing children in the mothers womb .That we want to keep guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens or force anyone to pay for the complete care of those able to provide for themselves .
