16 is a bit old for pedophile status. Its not very wise however. Ironic that one thing you hear advertised for is people for mentoring programs. Maybe he has his own personal mentoring program. It is conceivable that this is innocent. Why don't you ask him?
BTW, did you say 18? That would be age of majority. Now the issue is definitely not pedophile. He could marry her legally after leaving you. Maybe you should work on that issue instead of worrying if you can hang a sexual preditor tag on him.

First in the past, most marriages were arraigned for both sexes during their teens, and most females of wealth or position were married to males in their 20's or 30's.
That was arraigned marriages and now in the past.
Most males are attracted to females as soon as they hit the age that they can conceive. That is biological.
Most males are attracted to a female that is interested in pleasing/keeping his attention.
Now your problem is that you need to take up all your husbands time and show him that YOU are the center of his world. If he has no free time, and you make sure the time he is with you that he does not want to be away from you then you have no problems.
But if he does not enjoy the time he spends with you because he is not being pleased and/or his attention being kept, well he's going to go look elsewhere. If he is miserable while in your presence, guess what, he's gonna find someone that wants his attention.

A married man has no business being friends with an underaged female. Be an adult, and call her mommy! And once a pedophile, always a pedophile!

No reason for him to be around a 16 or 18 year old girl. If you really believe your hubby is a pedophile, then leave immediately. If you think you are over reacting, then confront him and tell him that no man his age should be interested in a girl her age.... I'm betting you are onto something here. If you leave, do so right away....or you may find yourself on Dr. Phil.....

A 16 year old is no child. It may not make him a pedophile, but if he's having sex with her it would make him a lyin' cheatin' bastard. Can you live with that?

You can be friends with someone younger and not have sex with them. When I was 15 I was hanging out with guys (and girls) twice my age. I have known them for 10 years now and I havent slept with the guys. I dated one of them recently, and we decided we were better friends. I would trust him. Especially if you love him

You can't be with someone you trust. Its pretty clear you no longer trust this man. It really doesn't matter if he is or is not a pedophile... you no longer trust him.
You need to end the marriage. Once it is ended you need to decide if you need to go to the authorites or not. but you need to end the marriage now.
I would higly suggest going to the authorities on this and let them know your feelings.

This is an easy one: you need to get yourself a camera. A small camera. And try to catch him in the act.
This is serious, and you should treat it that way.
