first of all I would try looking at the signal strength meter which is located in the service menu on your remote control.press 4 after selecting services then press signal test. If the bar is above 40% then you should be OK, below this then you need to the dish moved or relined

If its above 40% then try looking at the connections at the back of you sky box, paying attention to coaxial cable from your dish to the back of the box, as somtimes they become loose.

you need to check your signal strength, and make sure you are receiving a good signal, sky or sky+ they both have secret menu which allow you to reset the box's go into services menu select option 4 then type in 01 and select, this will take you into install menu .good luck.

do you have a tree in the garden blocking the view of the dish? you will need to get it relocated onto the roof or something - some channels transmit stronger signals than others, channel4 is very weak
