I too had Daunte Culpepper...I ended up dropping him for Kitna. I already have Eli Manning, and so Kitna worked for me.
If you can't get it done against HOUSTON of all people, when are you gonna' get it done? He is extremely sluggish back in the pocket...he is getting sacked a LOT. He just doesn't have the mobility an NFL quarterback needs. Grossman is rocking the house--just chill with him and hope you can find a nice pickup off the wire for Daunte. I picked up Leinart just as a gamble...it appears Warner is done...so with Boldin and Fitz and EDGE--well I think a junior high QB could prosper with those weapons at his disposal.
Final word: Drop C-pepp...he's going nowhere...

Absolutely! I just dropped him myself. The guy couldn't produce against Houston! That's like not being able to win a game of one on one against a 7 year old girl! Other QB's have feasted on the Texans - McNabb had 300+ yards, 3 TD's. Manning 400 yards, 3 TD's. And Brunell set a new NFL record with 22 consecutive completions!
The Bears have a very easy schedule for the next 5 or 6 weeks and Grossman should be fine. You can probably improve upon Rivers by hitting the waiver wire. David Carr is putting up huge numbers this season and should be forced keep throwing a lot since the Texans are always trailing. He gets great garbage time stats. In my league, he's a free agent, as are a revived Brunell and underrated Kitna and a mistake-free Brad Johnson.
Dump Daunte. Don't waste the roster spot.

Be patient a bit longer. I would drop him only if there is something tasty of the waiver wire. Don't drop him for a one-week wonder.
He is improving each week, if only incrementally. The turnovers are down a bit. The O-line is the problem.
If he fares at all well against New England, keep him. If he falls apart again, dump him. Miami has an up and down schedule with some tough teams, includng Chicago, and some doormats (Detroit, Green Bay). Saban is a master of adjustments. Miami should bounce back from this an finish strong as with last year.
Grossman looks like he could carry the load for you for a while.
Rivers also has an up and down schedule, but is probably only going to be a spot start guy at best for you. Marty knows how to ruin QBs.

I'd stow him away on the bench for a few weeks if you can. He is only a few games in from coming back from a devastating injury. He still has the potential for some big games.
The biggest determining factor will be what else is available on your waiver wire if you drop him. If there is someone better then drop him like someone did for Kitna. If there's not a good 3rd QB, I'd hang on to him and consider plugging him into a favourable matchup if things look better for him later on. Miami has 2 games this season vs the JETS yet as well as GB & Det.
I usually pick up my QBs on the cheap and just play them based on a combo of who's hot and the weekly matchup.

Yeah i think you would probably be safe to drop him. Rivers and Grossman are really quality QB's. (not that Daunte isn't) Culpepper just isn't having much luck in Miami. It seems that he's going down hill fast, I'd drop him quick and pick up someone who will be more beneficial to your team.

I got Culpepper in my money league, he played so bad I traded for the Warner/Lineart prospect. I'm looking to dump Culpepper at my supplemental draft (no waivers) for C Frye.
It's time to move on from this pick, he hasnt come back from the knee problem like the other one, C Palmer. Plus look at the running game in Miami, that OL is horrid. I'm thinking that has to do with some of the other issues.

Drop Rivers instead. Daunte is a good backup.

If you can only start 1QB in your league then drop Culpepper. Make the extra roster place work for you. Use it for favorable weekly spot starts that you like or for developmental players.
