First of all, in theory, you should not care about looking like a loser. But I understand that that is much easier said than done. But it you truly do not want to ride, then don't. Tell your friends you'll be waiting for them when they get off the ride. Make up an excuse if you have to--say your head hurts or something.
But second of all--Chang is fun! I've ridden it before, and although I'm not a big roller coaster person either, it was actually very fun. So please consider riding it, because you might actually like it! Have fun on your trip to Six Flags, and good luck.

you are not a loser. your body might not be able to handle it. i feel similiar to you hun and i just can't take roller coasters lol. I know how you feel though, it can be a little embarrassing but, it shouldn't be.
I remember when i went on a roller coaster at dorney park it was called the hurricane or tornado its a old wood ride. I was scared to go on it cause iknow i really can't take the ride but i do want to like it but i just can't, When the ride started, it takes u all the way up then drops like 20 freakin stories talk about losing my breath lol man i swear i didn't breath the entire ride. I just couldn't catch my breath. So i while on this ride i said to myself i hope when this rides ends and the ride is ready to for us to get off i hope i'm not in cardiac arrest lol. No joke. I'm not sure what your reason is and why u can't handle roller coasters but for me its more of a health issure lol my body just can't take it.
Don't let anyone peer preasure you into doing somethig that you don't want to OK because it can be dangerous or even deadly. You can just tell them i don't want to get on that ride.
I hope i have helped you by telling my story.

A loser to who? If it scares you, then don't go on it. Nobody's keeping score. What's the point of going on a fun trip and spoiling it for yourself by being nervous? Do what you want, go on the rides you want, and have fun. If someone gives you crap about it, look them in the eye and say, "You might be crazy, but I'm not."
If you change your mind and decide to go, that's fine too. Either way, it's no big deal, hon.

Well if you WANT to go on, and conquer your fear, go for it. You might even have fun, and will be able to say you beat your fear. But if you just don't want to, then why bother. Don't feel like a loser, who cares what anyone else says/thinks. You do what you want, bottom line. But you could stil go to Six Flags, and have fun- so other things, etc.

So don't go on the ride. Why in the first place do you need to do that, when there are so many other things to do. You don't have to please anyone but yourself.
