I know that you can delete your sim and then make them come back... but i thought that I used to use a cheat code for that but I can't remember it?

Full Health? Like recovering from sickness? or full motives?
Full motives is simple if you have The Sims 2: Nightlife. Just summon the cheat box (Ctrl + Shift+ C) and then type in maxmotives.
Full health, well, just get lots of rest ^_^

Open the cheat box while in the Neighborhood view "ctrl shift c" and type:
boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true
When you go to a sims house, you can click and drag their motives where ever, you can also do the same thing on skill points and friendships. You can make them good and bad.

If you don't have Nightlife and just want a simple and safe, bug free way to manage your Sims' needs, use the Merola Multipainting. Tried and true, and FREE :) Put it in your downloads folder, then go to buy mode when you restart your game. Find the painting with the Asterisk and put it up on a wall. If you don't have a wall big enough, just use the cheat, "moveobjects on" and you can put the painting anywhere.
