For regular verbs you take the root of the word like schwimmen (to swim) which is schwimm and add these endings:
Ich-e schwimme
Du-st schwimmst
er sie es-t schwimmt
wir-en schwimmen
sie-en schwimmen

Irregular verbs must be memorized.

Ok.......
First you need to find if the verb is irregular or regular. If it's irregular you will find it in the irregular verb lists at the back of your textbook, if not, then its most probably regular.

Regular verb endings are as follows:
Ich -e
du -st
er/sie/es/man -t
Sie -en
ihr -t
sie -en

So, take the stem of the verb and add the above endings.

However, if the verb is irregular, then the er/sie/es/man and du form will be different. It should say in your book how to write the er/sie/es/man form (the 3rd person) and the du form often uses the same stem as the 3rd person form but with the normal -st ending.

Hope that helps!

A clue for you to start.

ze is to du what ** is to er.
Broodenshaft or family and the word du ist etc used.
It's called familiar.
Strangers or formal, the word ze ist is used.
This is Haute, High, German.
Most speak the local dialect known as Platt German.

I am not an expert.
