I personally like MAC makeup! :) It's a little expensive, but it works really well!

Go to www.cosmeticscop.com. The lady that does these reviews has a book out, but it's a few years old and a lot of the new stuff isn't in there.
If you can afford it, I'd go to a department store counter (I'd suggest Clinique) and have them help you select one. If you're looking for a good drugstore foundation, I'd suggest L'Oreal True Match. I'm not a big fan of mineral makeups.

Im 33 and never wore foundation (what a nightmare) untill I went to a Mary Kay party and tried theirs. Wow is it nice and smooth and it doesn't melt off your face. If you buy it and it is the wrong color, they will exhange it for the right one even if you used some of it. what a great deal huh? You don't need much, a little goes a long way which also saves you money.

I love Mary Kay. It is a premium brand at a good price. I have been using it since I was 14. And like the other person said, the money back guarantee is great. If I don't like something, I can return it, even if I have used it. No questions asked!

I would suggest minerals makeup, but if you're looking for makeup reviews go to: http://www.makeupalley.com/. I'm sure they have product reviews on the website.

i would recommend bare minerals. i have tried many different brands, and this is the first that matches me perfectly. i've always had a problem with other foundations being too yellow on me, but not with bare minerals.

i like lots of make-up, but i keep going back to clinique. i know, expensive, but it is good for you. also i like mineral make-up, it doesnt clog your pours and give you break-outs. and benefit, you can find that at www.sephora.com.
