Bizarros, Indianatlantic, FL...best New York style pizza there is. Family owned and operated by a small italian family. They hand toss their dough...great toppings, fresh...nothing frozen or from a can... Pies are as big as a dining room table and really inexpensive.

Round Table Pizza, in Roseburg, OR, has always been my favorite. I realize it is part of a chain, and therefore not a true answer to your question, but I loved it.

Why is it the best? I grew up in Roseburg, and we went to Round Table every Friday when I was a teenager. The food was good, the service acceptable, but it will always be special because of the nostalgic feeling it evokes in me.

How can we get there? Somebody would need to invent a time machine and also restore my innocence.

Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn. Because everyone I know who's from New York rates it in their top 5 whenever I ask. And if you assume that NY style pizza rules, then they'd be right (sorry, Chicago).

Papa Kenos
Lawrence, Kansas (about 45 minutes from Kansas City)
This is amazing pizza and very different from any other place, they sever very large pieces and call them bigger than your face pizzas.

You are going to laugh at this and maybe call me crazy....my choice isn't a parlor.
Wegman's (a supermarket)
Elmira (I would think anywhere they are)
New York
They have thick, soft crusts and plenty of toppings....my favorite is Spinach and Riccotta.
