Okay... here's my problem... Im pregnant, I woke up today, smelled some food my hubby was having and then quickly ran to the bathroom to throw up. And I did, but with gall. Yellow, very bitter something. It wasn'y food or anything that I was having yesterday that I am very sure of. My stomach is completely empty. Should I be worried? Is it normal?

I was like that when I was pregnant. I was sick so often that I lost 16 pounds in a month. I thought throwing up was 'normal' in pregnant women so I didn't tell my doctor until my next appointment. He gave me anti-nausea medicine that made me not so sick but I was still throwing up. He told me throwing up is normal but too much isn't and that I should have contacted him. I didn't know as it was my first pregnancy and everyone I talked to told me it was normal to be sick.
Well, I was not sick as often but still on occasion. Then I started having pains behind my sternum. I ended up in the hospital with pancreatitus and gall stones. I was told that was common in pregnant women. You may want to contact your ob.

It's stomach acid. No you shouldn't be worried and yes it is normal when you puke on an empty stomach. Eat some crackers. That is almost a sure-fire way to cure morning sickness, however even if you do still get it, you won't be throwing up the acids in your stomach.

I pretty much barfed that nasty yellow crap for 3 months straight..usually in the morning before I ate anything or after I barfed everything up that was in my stomach. I assume its normal. If you start puking up blood, then be worried. Congrats on your pregnancy

You didn't have anything in your stomach to thow up except acids. I did the same this morning and have many times before in my life. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Talk to your doctor the next time you are there if you are worried.

It was normal for me. I spent the better part of four months like that every day. Enjoy it!
