Okay, from Mike Wallace's 60 minutes, Woodward says Bush will never withdraw from Iraq even if Laura and Barney are the only supporters of the war.

Now, the president is so firm on his policy.

Is there any law in the U.S. constitution that when the president is going wrong way, the citizens or the congress vote to stop him?

In other words, can we or the congress persons vote to withdraw, despite the president's insistance?

Or the president has the supreme power over the policy and there isn't anything we can do until he completes his presidence?

What are the ways to get out of Iraq, while Bush is still on the chair?

Congress can cut the funding on Iraq, but they won't.

If Democrats win the next election, they may try to impeach Bush, but that will set off U.S. Civil War 2, as Bush supporters like me will be ready to kill them all. :)

Well you can go west through Saudi Arabia, South through Kuwait, North through Turkey and East through Iran (as a last resort)

Opinion polls aren't the way things should be decided. After all if Columbus listened to opinion pools we wouldn't be where we are now.

You can have a recall election(ain't gonna happen). The President can be impeached (ain't gonna happen even if Democrats take both houses). Congress can vote to end our involvement(No frigging way in an election year and extremely doubtful even on an off year).

You see there are ways but it would require Congress (especially Democrats) to show more balls than they have recently.

To make a long story short. The best chance you have is to go to Iraq and talk the insurgents into a two year truce. Or you could send Bill Clinton. Better yet why don't you and Bill both go.

If the American people (most) still had any guts, we'd be taking to the streets to DEMAND a pull-out, ala Vietnam-most folks are too busy buying cars and paying for houses to bother, though.
