For out of the blue gifts, I hand deliver thank you notes. For birthdays, christmas, weddings, showers, etc, I always mail out thank yous within a week. Even after delivering a baby, I got out thank yous in a week. I think sending out heartfelt thank you cards is becoming a lost art. I wish more people would do it.

I did mine for high school grad. I hated it. Plus I weren't really care if anybody sent me a thank-u note so I think there a waste of paper and time.
I only signed mine but did the rest on the computer. It saved time.

If you gave me a gift in January, your thank you note would come the next year.

its a tradition that is falling by the way side, a tad to late for you mail them out now, but next time, baby shower or something, do you best to send them out

Never do them, never expect them. Save a tree. I thank in person.

Always send mine out like a week later and personalize them (ex. thanks for the toaster, sheets, etc.)
