My first reaction was "sweet"! But then I thought about Matt Lienart vs. Rex Grossman. This is a 3rd round pick for a free agent pickup. It's hard to pass..

If you have two good, "start'em every week" receivers ahead of Boldin and one or two other spot-starters on the bench, then you may want to the chance on Berrian.

Boldin's upside is that he seems to get 3-4 points every week. Very steady. His downside is that he seems to get 3-4 points every week. Fitzgerald seems to usually get the TD's there.

If you get Berrian, then I think you are getting a long play-maker that may score some big points one week then none the next. He's unproven for the long-term. Although he looked good last night on the deep ball.

I'd take Boldin, even with Leinart.

Boldin is a stud. Berrian has been nice, but he is a #2 behind Muhammad.

At some point, Chicago will revert to their "run-first" ways, and Berrian will not be the big wow factor.

Arizona is a mess, but they can't run very well. They will do a lot of passing late in games, when garbage time comes. Who cares when you get the points from Boldin, so long as he gets them.

I would do this trade in a second. Berrian is a hit or miss deep threat each game that you can't really take a chance with Rex Grossman being quaterback. Bouldin is a proven player coming off his best year. I would not accept this trade due to the fact that Berrian has only played a few good games.

NO WAY. Berrians a 2nd reciever (musin muhammed is 1st). Plus Boldins an all around, proven great reciever. Berrians good, but really hasnt done much before this year.

Actually did anyone you watch Inside the NFL on HBO last week? It seems that on 3rd down, every 3rd down Boldin is on the bench! WTF is that? A pro-bowl receiver! Denny Green is upsetting me with this play!

Lienart should do well next week. Passing game should open up, Lienart was ready to start from early on. They just wanted him to get his feet wet so he didn't look like a fish out of water with big eyes.

I think Lienart will surprise people.

I just don't know what to think about this 3rd down situation.

Oh you have to think about the chicago, once the snow hits, passing will become harder with that wind.
