lay it on a white towel or thickness of paper towels. Pour peroxide on it, and let it fizz. Wipe it away and wash as usual. The peroxide eats it away without harming the fabric.

I found the problem with silk is if it gets wet, the texture changes permanently. If you have already washed it in water before, go ahead and remove it yourself. If not, I suggest taking it to a good dry cleaner, pay $8-$12 to get it removed.

I have tried a lot of products but keep coming back to one, EXIT soap. I have used it to remover both new and old blood stains, red wine sharpie marker, ink, grease and lipstick from heaps of different surfaces. It is really easy to use, cheap and it has never damaged any surface I have used it on.

Couple of options:
Let an ice cube melt on it. Towel underneath, cube on top, leave it alone.
Soda water. Soak. Pretty good stuff for removing all stains.

try hydrogen peroxide it will remove blood from it without damaging the silk.

blood is removed with cold salt water. just let it soak for a few minutes and the stain should just rub out.
