I'm about to take a nice break for a month. What all can I do to make the most of it?

Personally I would take a road trip! Contrary to popular belief I think unplanned vacations are best, you won't have to rush around to planned activities and while you are driving along you can stop at anything that looks fun, how many times have you been driving and wanted to stop somewhere but couldn't? Also hotels will be cheaper at the last minute because they are eager to fill up vacancies. of course it is good to have a few ideas, but don't stick to them if you find something better! And you can return home whenever you feel like or move on to another place whenever!
