A young Chinese friend of mine got a job working for a chain of hotels on the West of side of Ireland. She enjoyed the experience.
Since you are French (an EU citizen), you won't have to bother with obtaining a work permit (my friend had to, of course). All you need to do is find a short term position. Look on the Internet for suitable hotel chains (that's if hotel work would appeal to you) and contact them directly.
Good luck, anyway!

Your country is a member of the EU and you can get a work permit for Ireland if there is a qualifying job that has a shortage of workers. Inventory you skills and see what is available form the web or Irish employment sources.

If you can type or have experience working in an office there are loads of temporary office jobs going. You join a recruitment agency and tell them that you are interested in temping.
It is usually just maybe one or two weeks in one office and then you go on to another office.

Seasonal jobs are always "short time" jobs, have you thought to look for something like that?

Probably the bars are your best bet.....but please don't use the term "short time". In the U.K it means quick sex from a prostitute ! Better to use the words "temporary work". Good luck
