there is no specific time for hoping for someone to love you again,it will just happen if you are really meant for each other.Just try to move on and don't assume for anything, cause it will be more painful and hard for the one waiting n assuming.

Well, I'm experiencing a break up right now for 3 months..and this guy really wants to spend the rest of his life with me.. but I think there is no time limit, cause you have to love someone and be loved in return to make everything work. So if both of you love each other.. I think you both have to forget the past and move on together.. remember.. everybody makes mistakes. Get back together but with some rules to make sure mistakes are not made again ;)

Have you 2 been communicating during this time? Get together at all? Otherwise I'd say forget any hope. You should be working out your issues during the break and keeping in touch with each other. I hope it works out for you!

was split for 4 years. We started seeing each other again, had sex, but it was not the same. The feelings and reasons for being together originally are not the same. But to answer your question, there is not time limit. Its what you still have in your heart that counts.

this happened to me with my HS sweetheart. We broke up right before 9/11 and got back together New Years Eve so three to four months was enough for us but you have to think long and hard about that. Only you know when its time to move on or start over.

No time frame......you could get back together in years away. But don't stop living. Continue to live and to become an interesting person so that you'll have something to give if that time comes.

My parents split up for 6 years then got back together. So there is no specified time limit.

If the problem isnt resolved after about a month, I would let it go and move on.

IF you break up
MOVE ON. Stop dreaming and hoping and wishing. You can't make anyone love you and you can't try to win them back.
Do whatever it takes to grieve, and then get on with your life.
