Well I won't give you a link since you didn't ask for one, but I checked benchmarks and the x1900xtx is slightly better, but not by much. I would just go with which one is cheaper.

nvida i think is better, coz of full support of all softwares and games,
about performance it's quality are mazing, it's true pixel viewing and more things
but don't miss gainware board of nvida pci express 512
