You will find out soon. One Christmas, many years ago, my cat ate some tinsel of the tree and we found this out because the cat was freaking out because some tinsel was coming out of a certain orifice and was only partially passed. My dad had to grab the trailing end and as soon as the cat ran, we found out just how large a piece he had ingested.

It was so gross, but sounds like you may have a similar experience.

Oh, if he ate it, you'll know sooner or later. Just wait for you cat to start rubbing his butt and meowing. When you see that happen, grab a paper towel and gently pull.

You'll have your ribbon back but it's not going to be green. :)

The only way is to wait for the end result & like christmas tinsle you may have to help pull it the rest of the way out. Sorry :(
