When I was a child, I hated the boxes of raisens that people gave instead of candy.

I think my all time favorite was when you got pennies from people. I swear I wanted to kick down the door after receiving them.

I hate the commercialisation of All Hallow's Eve.
To some of us, the day/night between October and November has as much significance as Christmas has to organised religions.
And still, commercial modern society has ridiculed and cheapened the true meaning of Halloween, much in the same way most other "holidays" have been.

PS: When I used to trick-or-treat as a kid, I used to hate apples, peanuts, and pennies... But the worst part was when it was all over... Boohoo!

I hated all those outbreaks of sick people putting drugs, or razor blades in the candy they were handing out. Back in the 90's, when I was still young enough to Trick-or-Treat, that crap happened. I had to stay home that year because my Mom was too afraid of me getting killed by stupid people. Ugh. Halloween never really was the same again after that.

My Grandparents gave apples b/c they had too many of them. Other years popcorn balls. Decorations that look cutsy rather then scary. Thats what I don't like. Also bloody gory movies. It just gets to be the same thing after a whlie so thats why I don't watch them.

My birthday is on Oct 30 so i wouldnt say i hate holloween. Holloween was always a special day to me.

i hate how halloween is always on a week day!!! i hate it because then you can't stay out as late with your friends cuz you have school the next day!!! grrrrrr

I hated the raisins as well. I never ate them.
I also hated the fact that my dad stole my candy...FUTURE DADS!! PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS!!!
Now I just hate the fact that my poor dog is scared of the fireworks.

Ungrateful kids that can't say thank you when I give them candy and their parents who don't seem to care that they have raised rude little cretins.
