Not cool right now but back then when my parents were young I would guess yes. As for John Wayne wearing a rug thats a new one to me. Same for Dean Martins nose. I do think Dean Martin would be a fun guy to have at a party. Since it's 2006 I don't think it matters whether or not Dean has a new nose. Least he's not Joan Rivers.

1. That's show biz.
2. Actors use all kinds of props to perform (i.e. rugs, bottles, pipes, nail files, etc.).
3. They are cool for knowing what worked for them and using it successfully. Knowing your strengths is half the battle.
