I am a bit of a geek now that I have broadband, a silver surfer indeed! All the magazines I read all rave about Lenovo laptops, they seem to be well specified, well designed and good value. Failing that, buy an Acer. Avoid Dell!

your definition of "trendy" and "cool" may be different from what i think of. but if you want to find laptop with awesome specifications, check on dell xps, toshiba, or ibm. if you buy from the store, the price will be around 1800. but if you buy from ebay, maybe you can find it for around 800 bux. happy hunting!

There is a very good laptop at a computer shop in my area(walthamstow).the place is very adjacent to st james street station.it's toshiba centrino,dvd/cd-rom and other good specs for £500.you can call the shop directly and speak to them
