Not actually... AIDS is a disease that severely weakens your immune system... so it's never strictly AIDs that kills you, it's getting the flu or something after you get AIDS. But I guess you couls say it's a death sentence. Sad, huh?

If you have $$$, you can get access to medicine that will suppress HIV, although the side affects my be undesirable. If you don't have $$$, you might as well put a bullet in your head so that at least your death will be quick and painless, because AIDS is a long, torturous way to go.
