I swallowed a dime when I was 4 or 5 and my mom thought I was going to die. **She still has the dime..yuck!

Bleach... i kid you not. Even now the smell of it makes me instantly sick..

no swallowing things but everything else went places they weren't meant to go (sounds disgusting) but i stuck peas and foam up my nose, foam from the (old) car seat in my ears, fingers in metal rings that were too small (requiring a trip to the emergency department at the hospital on 2 seperate occasions! the second time nearly lost my finger. . . fully recovered though.) there is much more but i'm sure you get the idea. i like to refer to myself as a curious and adventurous child :) . . . lucky my dad was a nurse!

At the age of 6, I swallowed a marble while I was suppose to be taking a nap. I couldn't breathe because it was blocking my airway, so I "fell" out of my bunkbed and ran to my mother.
She tried the The Heimlich Maneuver on me but that was unsuccessful. She decided to pick me, turn me upside down, and bounce me. The marble quickly fell out and my color returned from a blue to a peachy pink.
If it wasn't for my mother who knows if I would be here today. Thanks Mom!

When I was about 3 years old my Mother had a glass on the floor that contained gasoline. Thinking that it was pop, I drank it. I was rushed to the hospital and they pumped my stomach. But I was fine afterwards.

I swallowed a silver dollar that my Grandmother gave me. It sure was painful! To this day I do not know how I managed to do that!

You know those little see though red tiny disks that you use to play bingo? I choked on one when I was younger... I think every baby has choked on something, I just hope people get it out in time...
