I would prefer it to be gay friendly, because I already checked out some apts.. and while my girlfriend and I aren't butch..people act diff when 2 girls ask for a 1 bedroom. It really doesn't matter to me if it's friendly or not..just make my life easier.
And by the way it's spelled FREAKING.

You want the short north area. Very nice, also pretty pricey. Fairly close to Ohio state, although not that close. Most of Columbus is pretty gay friendly really.

When you get there, you need to check out the coffee table and Union station bar/ restaurant. Both are fabulous. Lots of other places too, but those are my favorites.

If you see a place for rent on Bryden Rd or the Old Towne East neighborhood. You see them listed a lot in the Other Paper and in Columbus Alive. There are also some good places in the Short North Area.

And the Lesbian Princess doesn't know what the *** she is talking about. There is no better place in the midwest for gays than Klumbus Ahia. Look it up you don't believe me

My brother lives there; from what I understand, the whole city's pretty queer-friendly.

His bf has a show at Wall Street (lez bar); Ms. Panzie Bloom. Good luck finding a place.
