No, the more you inbreed the more medical problem they will have down the road. To top it off they end up sitting in shelter when people think they are not fun or cute any more, or they just dump them off in a box at petsmart, petco or any place that they thinks looks good. We took in an abandonment case last winter some jerk took over 100 guinea pig in two boxes and dumped them off in the middle of a snow storm on the door step on a church in Maryland, half of them froze to death, if a rescue does not get them and a shelter does the sit there untill the run out of time and then they put them to sleep.

I would not do it. There is too great a chance that recessive genes which are often undesireable (often for illness, deafness, etc.) would show up in the offspring. It is too complicated to get into genetics here but you increase the chance of offspring having these defects when you breed closely related animals. Sometimes serious breeders do this when trying to "fix" a desireable trait and, in fact, this is how we have developed so many breeds of cats and dogs and so many coat colors. But for an average pet owner, who is not involved in improving to a breed standard and has a good grasp of genetics, it is not recommended.

I woudn't breed brothers and sisters. They can breed obviously but sometimes the babies have health probs or are born dead. It's not like GP's are rare that you have to interbreed. If you have the space go get another male or female if not then don't breed them.

undergo in recommendations, it should be exciting and useful too. Legos does no longer be so because dirt and different debris can get stuck contained in the cracks of the lego wall. also, guinea pigs have a tendency to gnaw, so timber isn't too useful. timber can splinter and harm their mouths, too. i take advantage of a multilevel ferret cage, easily. I keep the ramps as a lot as each and each factor low so the guinea pigs can climb it. they look to really get excitement from it. i imagine the only flaw is they could fling their stuff over the aspects of the structures. i have heard of kiddie swimming pools getting used as cages, which isn't too undesirable. good success.

i think u will be fine, if the pigs enjoy breeding, u should never force breed, if the girl pig is ugly it would be a verry unpleasend experience for the boy pig.
i can tell u all about tha.
also give them some privacy, its not easy when u are around all day,
create a cosy place with lots of hay and dark lighting.
then when stuff gets hot and u do get baby pigs u should take care their dad wil not have sex with his daughters, pigs tend to this,
i have been studing sexual behaivior in pigs for some years now and the change of getting a angry jehove witness on the door is high if they find out that yr dad pig is porking his baby daughter pig.
ok, good luck.

It is never a good idea to breed brother and sister -- birth defects, mental defects, personality defects. Generally results in substandard offspring.

It's fine. Just make sure you research on interbreeding first.
I'm glad that you can plan ahead.
