1)
The most rich country in Latin America is Argentina with a GDP per capita of US$ 12.106, followed by Chile with a GDP per capita of US$ 10.174 and Costa Rica with a GDP per capita of US$ 9.606. The most rich Latin countries are France and Italy with GDPs per capita of US$ 27.677 and US$ 27.119.

2) Lots of reasons, it's not so simples as people from the "first world" think.

3) Not all Latin Americans are descendant from Spanish or Portuguese. In the case of Mexico only about 10% of the population is white. Most Mexican are a result of mixage between Spanish and the Indigenous population. Among the Mexican that emigrate to United States almost none or none is white because whites in Mexico belong to the middles classes. The number of whites varies in each Latin American country. Countries like El Salvador and Honduras almost have no whites while in countries like Argentina and Uruguay more than 80% of the population is white. Some Latin American countries like Dominican Republica, Cuba and Brazil have a large black population. Cuba and Brazil have very large white population too. In Latin America not all whites descents of Spanish and Portuguese and there are important Japanese and Arab communities too. As you can see Latin Americans don't belong to a single race. We are a "melting pot", as you like to say.

The richest Latin American country is Chile, if I am not wrong.

Besides, Mexico IS a part of Latin America. And all of Latin America hasn't evolved for the same reason: The IMF and the USA.

And people in Latin America have high levels of racial mixture with natives. This didn't happen in Spain, so I guess that's why it's considered white.

I'm astonished on the loss of capabilities that plenty of latin Americans have. You do notice that the Spanish handled the natives like crap, raped plenty of the girl, pressured all of them into Christianity, after which proceeded to extinct many southern American and vital American tribes proper? This isn't any cause to nonetheless hate the spanish now days although. Also I went to spain with my pal who's Mexican and the Spanish had been horrid to her and she or he mentioned that spanish persons are identified to be racist toward hispanics of vital and south America(now not all however a few).
