Cos there ain't enough of it!!! At any onetime there is a higher demand than supply of water. Even in countries like the UK where it rains a lot we still have to ration our water to a certain extent; hence hosepipe bans in the summer.

Go just 2 days without water and you'll soon realise why it's important not to waste it!

Because at any one time, there is a limited supply of water available for consumption, with (obviously) a continuous demand for this one resource in particular. It is renewable, but not always consistently due to the risk of droughts and such. Waste leads to higher costs of production, which is ultimately paid by the consumer.

Because it takes water from a place where it useful and put it into a place where it's useless, and it can cause a number of negative consequence along the way--polluted runoff, overflow in a sewage treatment facility, to name a few. Depending on where you are, it can set the soil up for a landslide in a heavy rain--is that enough?

Drinkable water is scarse, as we cannot drink sea water without risking brain and kidney damage. Wasting water means we are reducing the amount available to ourselves, and seeing that we cannot live without water, I consider wasting it to be a bad idea.

Well, it costs $, and one day (soon) it will be unavailable at ANY price, so enjoy it (and use it wisely) while you can!

During the coming tribulation period:

Revelation 16:4 (KJV)

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

Because water available for our daily and basic use is very less available and if we won't conserve it we have to pay for it scientist's are saying that third world war would be for water.

surely you arent that dumb...i'm not even gonna justify your question with an answer....if you dont know the value of water to life then you shouldnt have access to any! if you do and you are merely striking up a debate then fair enough...everything everyone has already said.
