Pamela Isley (A.K.A. Poison Ivy) is an eco-terrorist with an insane love of plants, right? If she prefers plant life over most humans, why is she always seen eating fruits and salads? Eating plants for the sake of her own nourishment should be just sick and wrong according to her beliefs.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd think she'd eat nothing but meat and be built like a weight-lifter, not the frail little vegan we all know and love. *lol*

Excellent point! I think they are trying to emphasize the contrast that she is a criminal and yet prides herself on some picky little personal habit as though it was a virtue. Hitler was a vegetarian, too, you know. There is such a thing as gluttony of delicacy as well as the gluttony of excess we are more familiar with. And, don't forget, she is a "man-eater".

Don't you think that Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue (the Floronic Man) would make a nice couple...? It would serve her right and keep him too busy to cause any more trouble. At least, I hope she doesn't get the hots for Swamp Thing, or Abby Cable's in trouble again!

I would assume that since a plant can give of itself to sustain others w/o dying that she is not harming her prescious plants by consuming them. while a cow must die for my hamburgers, an apple picked from a tree does not kill the tree

Well, you are what you eat. She's a living, breathing plant. So, it makes sense that she consumes them and gain power from them.
