Besides the OBVIOUS (money)....

If you are talking about packing luggage- you will want warm weather clothes, sunscreen (although you can always get that when you are there), comfortable shoes. If you plan on taking photos, you will need your camera and film, (if you don't have a digital) , if you have a digital camera, you might want to take an extra storage card with you, along with spare batteries. Otherwise, there is nothing "special" that you need to pack.

Now if you plan on taking a backpack with you to the park, (to carry your camera, etc.) just remember that security will want to look in there before you enter the park. I take a small backpack or sometime wear a "fanny pack" for things like my ID, park ticket and money. The small backpack is handy to carry camera and any small purchases you make.

Have fun!!!

The suggestions to bring plenty of money and to pack some meal bars and other nourishing snacks are 100% right. Make sure you pack at least 2 pair of shoes; it can ruin a trip when your only pair of shoes gets damaged or soaking wet. Wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little wet in, for instance nylon and synthetic (dry fast) pants and shirts are better than cotton (stay wet for hours) jeans and tee shirts. Think about having wet cotton underwear under those quick dry nylon pants too! Remember, here in the tropics we have frequent rain showers -- they are short, but they are powerful. And you will want to ride the log flume without having to spend an entire day in a swim suit.

Don't forget to bring a tote-bag, backpack, or other means to carry sweaters, snacks, water bottles, cameras, rain ponchos, etc, to the theme parks. Yes, sweaters! It my be nice and warn outside, but it can be Arctic indoors -- especially if your clothes are damp from one of those powerful thundershowers.

without a doubt, ziplock baggies, to keep your wallet or cell phone dry if you go on water rides!
also, sunscreen. but buy it after you fly, you cant bring liquids/gels on the plane. and any area walgreens or drugstore is gonna charge an arm and leg (or within the park) for such items.

I always make sure to bring a light sweatshirt, or a zip up hoodie. It can get chilly, especially if you stay late to watch the fireworks ( I recomend you do), or if you ride one of the water rides.
