I was prescribed Dianette for exactly the same reason, mostly to help control my heavy painful periods but was suffering from bad acne.

It took a good 3 months before I saw some visible results so be patient.

In the meantime whilst you are awaiting for the pill to take effect try something like neutragena facial wash for oily skin. This will help control the excess oil that is being produced by the imbalance of hormones.

Another good spot treatment is 'on the spot' by clinique its a little pricey but is really worth it!

Too stark. i might take the pink pill, yet purely because of the fact then i'm getting to handle actuality yet can forget approximately approximately it whilst i'd desire to, without tuning out for something of my existence. i might probable finally end up like maximum have in this century, taking a much less effective blue invoice, despite if that pill be drugs (criminal or unlawful), meditation, procuring, holiday, activities or television cleansing soap operas. Too many are on a blue pill binge. Moderation is a stable component. Peace

It should start working by about 3 months, as your hormone cycle should be under control since then.

There are plenty of over the counter (pharmacy) creams - these are usually stronger than ones in general shops.

Not to sound like Gillian McKeith but - drink plenty of water & eat well

Hope this helps

It will get rid of your spots after about 6 months totally but you should see results in 6 weeks. It can make you put on weight so be careful what you eat.

I took it for 6 months, with no visible improvement in my skin. I eventually came off it, as it's not as effective for contraception as some other pills.....

I was prescribed Diane 35 for hormones that I am over producing............apparently they did studies and this birth control has a high risk of blood clots.
