My freedom? That's never been in question. I refuse to be anyone's slave. If someone opresses ME personally, I take issue with it. If somebody attacks my country, I couldn't really give a toss.

OK here is the skinny.
The world is overpopulated and there are not enough jobs.
We take the excess of unemployed population and make them kill each other.
This creates the jobs for soldiers, but also for millions of factory workers who produce military supplies. Now because there is not enough people around -- the factory workers get descent salaries, because there is no competition for their jobs.
So now we have more better jobs, and less competition fo them.
Result? -- Economy Boom.
Don't believe me?
Then how do you explain economic boom immediately after WWII? Even the loosing countries like Germany and Japan benefited because of war.

I guess that your question is how groups of soldiers who are not the entirety of their respective countries have any real meaning? Well the reality is that they can usurp governments and overthrow democracies nd constitutions. Can the world dispense of soldiers? Certainly if America put half of the budget used in its military on food, shelter, and education for the hungry masses most of those soldiers could go home to regular civilian jobs

No killing one another is not the answer to peace and it puzzles me and troubles me that the ones in charge cant seem to keep peace..two wrongs don't make a right and we seem to get no where but to cause more bad feelings with other countries

when we are at war its nothing more than a tug of war to see who will get the power its not right no matter how bad we see the enemies we are just like them trying to live how we think we should ..there is no wrong answer in that

with soldiers there is the saying "kill or be killed", it is sad that in this world people have learned to hate and be hated, not only in the soldier world but everyday people. people forget everyones blood runs red, there should not be race problems, culture problems, but there is, therefore we have soldiers, its been forever and it will never go away, so I say this " love one another and try to keep peace with the ones around you"

the planet is overpopulated? Senseless violence and destruction makes people feel better when we see it on the news? I know! it distracts us from what the corrupt politicians are REALLY doing and keeps us from stopping it--it helps the politicians, and they are the ones who keep it going--the hand is quicker than the eye!
