Because Condy Rice is a woman of color (kind of) or because Colen Powell had a moment ? you see what Bush did to him when he was done with him.. shoot he was the only one that had any compassion and they dropped him like a bad habit...
Justice Janice Rogers-Brown, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Alan Keyes, Ward Connerly, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams,... google any of these black conservatives and tell me where they are working for the poor in this country ?
Do you Think Dr. King would have gone this route?

That's hilarious. You should do a little reading on history. I'd suggest with a book called Black Redneck and White Liberals by Thomas Sowell. Excellent book.
The blacks in this country are realizing that the Democrats have been using them as a pawn while doing nothing to help the black people as a whole. The progress of the black demographic was extremely slowed down by the social programs that were instituted by "liberals" to show that they were helping out the under privileged and give themselves a pat on the back. All they did was help create generations of poor blacks that are unable to provide for themselves because they've been given handouts for years by the government, instead of being helped out with providing for themselves. We've (the government) has systematically taken responsibility away from black community and have treated them like property. Yeah, that's some progress.

why are you so certain that most "poor people" are noble, hard working honest citizens who deserve our help. I have spent much of my life amongst poor people and found very few who deserve to be described as honest and industrious. Anyone who believes they can be successful just working eight hours a day on a low paying job will remain poor; and if they are not developing better skills or continuing their education they will not remove themselves from this "poor" condition.

Maybe if you actually went after a diploma instead of more 'bling bling' or the nearest welfare check, you wouldn't be in such dire straights. The problem you have, and many like you, is that you're so busy blaming everyone and everything else for your current situation, you haven't bothered to even START addressing the problems in your community. You whine like you are the only one with problems. Guess what... your not. And you're not helping yourself either.
