In a true democracy the legal majority rule's & controls. With an Oligarchy you have a difined ruling class of the wealthy! Here in USA they claim to promote Democracy but the Political/Voting system has never been legitimate or verifiable hence extremely corrupt! Wealthy buy & sell politicians everyday!

Oligarchy is rule by a few. Democracy is rule by the mob. They're both just as bad.
