Okay, these would be my picks if I were to outfit my own woodshop:
Hammer, Screw driver, measuring tape, drill/screwgun (battery op), compound mitre saw, jig saw, table saw, palm sander, square, clamps, pneumatic stapler, pneumatic finish nailer, air compressor (for pneumatic tools), router, band saw, pliers, chisle set, hand saw, dovetail saw.
Things like nails, screws, glue and drill bits I consider supplies, not actual tools, I count saftey equipment seperate, too.

I love carpentry, my dad taught me and my four older brothers how to use those power tools when I was still in Intermediate school, I enjoy creating things, from hanging boxes for mom's flowers, to little stools for my nieces and nephews to use in the yard, to birdhouses, I like the creating as well as the decorating of the finish product. Yeah, it's fun to do, but I do not know of other girls who enjoy it, none of my sister in laws seem to want to learn, they're always saying, "If I want something made, I'll just ask your brother to do it".... =P
