okay... i have been with my bf for 16 months. we meet in a hospital... and shortly after his discharge, he was sent to juvi...(i am not 100% sure why) then he was court ordered to live in a group home.... and when he had been there almost 8 months, he dropped out... now he is back in juvi, and will be out in 3 weeks...
what should i do... i love him, and totally care about him... but everyone around me is like...drop that sh**... any advice...

OK lets review:
- you have been with your bf for 16 months
- you met in a hospital - because?
- he got in trouble and was sent to juvi - but you don't know what kind of trouble?
- he got out and had to live in a group home
- he ran away from the group home after 8 months - and got caught?
- he is currently in juvi and will be out in 3 months
so... this guy who you love... won't tell you what kind of trouble he was in and you are not interested enough in him to look at court records to see what he did.
this guy can't obey the rules (hence his juvi stint and his running away)
He must have one heck of a BIG personality!!! because by his actions I can't see any reason why ANYone would want to be around this guy!!
I'd drop him. Why do you need the drama? Why do you need the pain? is it a status thing (I'm with a guy who is in JAIL) or what?
If you are thinking that you will be able to help and change him you are wrong. The only person who can change someone is themselves. No one can change anyone who doesn't want to change (and by his actions he seems to not want to do anything but what he wants to do).
Your friends are right. Listen to them!

Drop that sh**! is right sound like trouble. You don't go through all that trouble for nothing.

Well you should dump him what good is he going to bring into your life,can you depend on him for support,you basic needs.Girl you want someone who will be there for you.a guy with that kind of reputation is never going to be no kind of man.
