Papier-Mâché Glue: Make a simple, thin glue from flour and water. Mix 1/2 cup of flour into 1/2 cup of water until the mixture is thin and runny. Stir into 2 cups of boiling water (the heating gives the glue a nice consistency, but is not necessary). Simmer for about 3 minutes, then cool.

Keep it in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Any screw-on lid would be OK, or one of those food storage containers like the ones made by RubberMaid, Glad, or Hefty. It's exposure to air that makes a glue dry out, so the main idea is to avoid that. If you have too much to put in a jar, and you won't need to keep it very long, then probably you could just put it in a bowl and cover the top with a plastic wrap and keep it in the refrigerator. But I don't know how long you can keep it, because (as Ibredd says, above) people usually only make as much as they think they'll need, and throw away any left over.
