Would He find that you were "good enough" to enter heaven? Or would He find a life of complete disobedience to HIm?

Remeber, God is perfect, and He demands perfection from us. Just ONE sin in your life, is a life of disobedience.

The Bible says, "For ALL have sinned, and ALL fall short of God's glorious standard (Romans 3: 23) & The Wage of sin is DEATH...(Romans 6: 23)."

What would He find?

He'd find a sinner who has accepted Christ in her heart. My actions do not merit any entrance into Heaven. Only Christ can save me.

A **** ton of sin, by the Bible's definition of it, far less sin but still a-plenty of it, by my definition of it, and a guy wondering exactly what kind of rabid b@st@rd posts questions like this. Oh, yeah, and most of all, he'd find that same guy, me, wondering if the guy who posted this question has any clue that by stating that "Reme(m)ber, God is perfect, and He demands perfection from us. Just ONE sin in your life, is a life of disobedience", just that statement you made there, is actually in and of itself is a sin, by the Biblical definition. (On a side note, thank God contradiction isn't a sin...)

Are you a fan of irony? I am. And I think its an ironic twist of fate, no, actually an ironic act of divine intervention that God has so wittily caused you to directly attribute a falsity to HIS Own name in stating that "God demands perfection from us all."

Fact is, if you weren't either rabid or utterly holier-than-thou, you might realize that he doesn't demand perfection. He knows its impossible. According to the 4 gospels, (if you happen to believe them, I'm assuming you do) then you'd know that not a (lucid, self-aware, conscious) soul on earth before or after Christ has been or will be capable of living a life free of sin as described by the Bible. This is WHY Christ was given to man as an avenue for redemption. Its not expected of us to be perfect. Its expected, no, its GUARANTEED BY GOD HIMSELF that we don't live a life of perfection. Stop saying it is. (Also, I think smugness, holier-than-thou-ness, idly wasting time scare-preaching via internet message boards and passing judgment on others are all sins of some sort too, but whos counting?)

Douchebag.

Stop the online preacher crap, you're scaring people away from the important message in the bible, which can essentially be boiled down to "Do Unto Others..." with the "mental-4-jesus, sinners must be punished" attitude.

With that said, wait'll I tell the big man you're going around telling people he said stuff he didn't. He's gonna be PISSED.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not parish but have everlasting life.

He would find a life that always honored and respected him. A life of good and bad. However he would know that I always praised him. My only sin would be not living life to the fullest, not taking advantage of what he has given me. Being a slave to society instead of an heir to his throne; the child of GOD. The one true God...the author and the omega.
Matthew 19:26 With God all things are possible.

We are not judged by our actions. In the Bible He says "I am the way and the truth and the life and anyone who believes in me should have eternal life" If you believe that Jesus Christ is savior you will enter heaven. I believe that you should have good actions on earth but that's not what determines if you get into heaven. No one can be perfect...we can only try to be more like Him...

God never demanded perfection from us, read your Bible and educate yourself. And nobody is good enough to enter heaven, that's where Jesus Christ comes in, He died on the cross for our sins, He shed His precious Blood for all and everyone who will accept Him and receive forgiveness of sin.

God does not demand perfection from us. He cannot look upon sin and that is where Christ comes into the picture. Jesus is,basically , our agent and He stands for us, (if we have accepted Him.) It is thru Him that we become perfect and our sins, past, present and future, are cast "as far as the east is from the west."

He would find out that I should be admitted to the afterlife like everyone else on earth. There are so many questions about hell and damnation. Then you have the freaks who are convinced that the Bible says we are in our last days etc. My suggestion is to relax and have a Coke and watch television until some of this compulsive religion leaves your body LOL.

He'd probably be all like "daaaaaaang, boy-ee, you sure got laid a lot"

and then he'd give me this massive high-five, and maybe we'd smoke a bowl

then we would play a round of Mario Kart Double Dash, and even though I would win, I'd feel bad for him and be like, hey, it's cool jesus, you just need practice

Not much. But then, I'm not Christian and don't carry a pile of guilt for my existence. I think the big JC would be cool with anyone who led a life of joy and peace. Who cares what religion you follow, if any? Don't actions speak louder than any pious words?
