My boyfriend hasn't done anything special for me in 3yrs and I dont speak with most of my family. I feel really sad & hurt. Im always the one throwing a party or taking someone out on thier special day. To make matters worse my dad died three weeks ago & no one acknowledged that either. Im not sure what question I'm asking, but I could use some friends right now.

I'm very sorry. I know sometimes it seems like life just takes a big sh*t on you, but don't despair. If you are a good person, you will get what you deserve, and that is to be treated as a princess. I know "happy birthday" from a stranger doesn't mean as much as from a loved one, but happy birthday anyway. Keep your chin up and keep being a good person, but don't let yourself be walked all over. Tell your boyrfriend that you are upset and hurt, and if he doesn't care, then he doesn't deserve you, and find someone that will give you the love and attention you do deserve! Good luck.

WHY hasnt ur boyfriend done anything for you have you asked him? If it is due to finacal reasons I could totally understand. I know how you feel I am one of those people that give and keep giving to others and get nothin in return. But as God says love everyone and give without expectin anything in return. I am sorry to hear about your dad. I don't know what I would do without my parents. They are my world along with my 3 kids and hubby. Keep your head up and try to not let this get you down. Happy birthday to you. Talk to your bf and tell him how you feel. Be honest with him. What hes doing isn't right. If he doesn't care then you need to move on. I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I'm so sorry....happy birthday...sometimes you have to drop hints about your birthday...people forget..are you a quiet person..or a person who seems very strong...when you are quiet or shy some people take it as you being someone who likes to be very private and don't like anyone in their business...same with people seeming strong...people assume you are "hard-shelled" well whatever...it is not nice of them if they know and don't say anything...sorry about you dad...i hope you eventually find some good people in your life who appreciate you..

Take it from me, my b-day is forgotten on a regular basis. It is like the love of my life has this calender and on my birthday is marked "be sure to forget Vals b-day". Don't feel sorry for yourself, if no one acknowledges your b-day then you need to treat yourself. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. What I am saying is do not depend on others support as much as you need to depend on support from yourself. I hope it makes sense to you.
