someone please tell me this pops up when i try to playrobot rage on miniclip and its just a little x in the top right hsnd corner how do i make it go away so i can play the dang game?

ActiveX was pushed out from Microsoft as a competitor to Java but it has an open security model of treating every program streamed from the 'Net as a safe and harmless one instead of Java's close model (suspicious of every program streamed from the 'Net as malicious unless told otherwise).

To counter the problem of some guy downloading a virus or something sneaky without knowing a simple signing and end-user acknowlegement is used to let you know the program was not tempered with, a dialog saying "Certificate" is going to pop out, say yes, allow it to run.

look at the top of the browser when u click on a game, it will ask you what u want to do, ie install the active x cause sum are harmful to pc's but u need sum 2 play games like mini clip, also helps if i know what browser u are using, IE, firefox etc

If you don't have active X installed, you have to click the pop-up to get it.
