You mean you had sex on Saturday night and you don't know !
You can get pregnant anytime - there is just a better chance a certain times of the month - Why didn't you make him wear a condom - silly question isn't it - I guess you are ready to have a baby and change your life -
Use a condom in the future and then "No Worries" -
Be safe girl !

No, your body doesn't even begin to produce the pregnancy hormone until after the fertilized egg implants in the uterine wall. Implantation takes place 6-12 days after conception and is the medical definition of pregnancy.
If you don't want to be pregnant, you're still within the 72 hour timeframe for using emergency contraception.
If you do want to be pregnant, be patient... you won't know for another week or two. (And good luck!)

Try tonight around the time you had sexual intercourse as this would put it at forty eight hours. Results will typically show in forty eight hours after sexual intercourse. If this is not what you are hoping for, please go straight to the Public Health Clinic and get on some form of birth control. If you are hoping you are pregnant and turn out to be pregnant, the congradulations! If you do not wish to be pregnant and indeed are, then I extend my condolences and hope you choose to give the child up for adoption and not use abortion as a form of birth control. There are thousands of wonderful couples who despertly wish for a child but are unable to have one. You would be well taken care of durring the pregnancy as the adopting couple usually pays for all your expenses during the pregnancy including food and housing. Of course, after the child is born the support ends. But, this will give you time to go to school and gain skills to get a decent job after they child is in his/her wonderful home. Think of how the child will have so much advantages growing up, have so many more opportunities and abilities for a healthy and loving childhood, which leads to a mature and well adjusted adult.
As I said before, if you want a child, and are pregnant, congradulations. If you are pregnant and do not wish a child at this time, think very carefully about the child and what would be best for him/her. All you need to do is put an add in the paper of a major city and you will have potential applicants for parenting the child than you could shake a stick at. Be sure to have an attorney write up a contract. Also, remember you have six months to change your mind and raise your child yourself if you so desire, afer the child has been in the adoptive parents home. Just remember that if you do change your mind you will be hurting the child, causing abandonment issues which will affect h/her entire life, and cause great greif for the adoptive parents whom has bonded with the child.
Good luck and I wish you the very best.
p.s. Yes, results can show up as early as forty eight hours after intercourse. Each woman is different, so if you show a negitive make sure to repeat the test forty eight hours after the first test. Purchase a package with two tests in it, there is a reason they sell them in twos, because often one is too eary for one woman or shows conflicting results. Each woman's body is different, but on average forty eight hours should show results. I know as I have given these tests to young women and was educated on how early results can show. You can also have an idea without even taking a test. If you are in the middle of your cycle, in the ovuating period, which is usually seven to ten days following the end of your last period you can know the odds of your being pregnant are high. If it is just right after or right before your period or during your period the odds of pregnancy is very low. Good luck and I hope you get the results you wish for.
