How does everyone fell about music these days? Most of it is horsecrap. The good stuff is not "hip" with todays people. Like Elvis, Led Zepplin, Tupac(maybe), Nirvana, Metallica and so on.

You know, you're right. A lot of the music from those days isn't being heard anymore. But the artists you named in your question are all artists that changed the industry when they came around. I've really been trying to fight new music and not listen to it, as I really don't like where Rock is going nowadays. I was trying not to like Panic! and the Killers, Wolfmother, and other bands like this. But music progresses, and it always will. I think it's important to appreciate it for what it is. What I can't stand are bands like Green Day and Blink 182 whose songs all sound alike. But, there ARE a lot of good, new bands out there. I think iTunes does a pretty good job of showing some of them, although they do tend to go with the trends.

u right and u r wrong ...it's just much harder to locate the good stuff ...from all that horsecrap as you call it..but I can assure you..it's there..dig deeper..bands who have been influenced by Nirvana..and led zep..and metallica...i'm sure they r trying..elvis...i'm not sure ther'll be another...in fact..there won't be another cobain or jimmy page..or robert plant...or anyone..but..well..everyone loves the stuff from their own generation

90 percent of todays music is CRAP! Nothing will ever be as good as the old jazz/standards, classic soul and real rock (i.e. Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, Janis Joplin)

i think everything changing i think its like saying today's music isn't the same as 80`s music well it not going to be because times have change so will music it like celebrities which celebrities have become famous for a good reason unlike the reality celebrities or singers that are not that good.
i think overall it depends what type you listen to i think some band /artist should just give it a rest because they clearly cant sing

it really depends on the kind of music that you listen to...and you want... there are songs which are , you said, horsecrap... but still there are also great produces... you can really never tell... today's music is totally different from the past's

I dont listen to today music ..
It sucks .. .. I'm a Doors , Hendrix , Ozzy, Metallica , Motorhead , Zombie , Stevie ray von , Alman Brothers .. etc. Kinda chick !!

i think todays music has changed soo much over the decades.like rap, in the 80s rap was so innocent and i like oldschool rap, but now rap is so inapporpiate its not even funny. rap artist today sound like rapist and perverts. all they rap about today is womens breasts and their butt. and rock, i mean i love rock but some of them , all they sing is about is drugs sex, and alcohol. you could probaly find some
rappers and some rock groups who dont do all of that. and i think they need to be more like that. but hey its just my opinion.

I agree!! Todays music is HORSE CRAP....BIG TIME!!!! it's not like music from before!! Not sayingall of the music is crap, there are a few songs that are ok, but thats it theres is a few and they are only ok.... older music has meaning, it has soul, and its fun!! ~Cheers!!~
