You need to be honest with him. Tell him how you feel and that you don't want to ruin the friendship with him. He's probably going to ba hurt but you need to tell him asap so he can move on and try and find someone else. Hopefully he'll understand. All you can do is be honest. Good luck.

Just be upfront about it. This happened to me once, I was JUST friends with this guy whom I considered like a brother to me. He made his feelings clear to me, that he wanted more. I kept telling him NO, that he was JUST my friend. He got kinda mad when I would date guys and even kissed me on the lips in front of a guy I was dating once. It was crazy... Just make it clear, EACH AND EVERY time he brings it up... You are just friends... Nothing more.

tell them that you like the relation ship the way it is an dont want to ruion it if you were to date one another an it didnt work theres no gettin your friendship back it would never be the same good luck

Tell him that you two are such good friends and that you have seen friends get with their male/female friends and ruin the friend ship that they had... and that you dont want to do that.

try to talk to him/her and explain to him/her that you dont want to be more than what you have now, tell him that you dont want to mess up the rlationship you have with them now as being friends
