A case can be made for that statement being true of BOTH parties.

Unfortunatly, this is true of both parties generally. It is why I believe there has to be a balance of power in governement. If you have a republican president, you need a democrat house and senate, or if you have a democratic president, you need a republican house and senate. When you have a good political balance, the government is much more effective at working on the issues that effect this country and making significant changes.

Yes. Only 3% of America is represented- they are the rich elite, and hold most of the power. On occasion, one party- usually the Democrats, will inadvertantly make policies that help out the working classes for awhile, but Republicans represent none of us, and anyone who thinks they do are fooling themselves.

Neither party is interest in doing what right for America.Representative government does not care about the public! We should switch to a True Democracy & utilize our communication technological advances to our advantge that was not availiable in years past! Amend the constitution end representative government show the world we can be independant & leaders instead of land of Sheep!

Democrats! At least Republicans decide what they believe and support and stick with it...which is more than can be said for most Democrats!!

both parties are guilty on this one . right now it would be the democrats , they want the power to overthrow the republicans but do not have a plan whatsoever , on the other hand republicans are trying to do the right think for america but democrats keep getting in the way because they want that power

Both. That is what politics is all about. The Democrats, however, are the lesser of two evils. Personally, I think we would be better off without politics, at least in the form we know it.

It doesn't matter who you're talking about, we need to be more concerned with Americans than America. Our reputation won't matter much when none of us have jobs, health care, or food on our tables.
