Hi, i just had a baby about 7 weeks ago and i started taking birth control about three weeks ago. After i started taking the birth control i started to have a brown discharge and i started feeling sick. When me and my husband have sex we also use condoms with the birth control. Could i be pregnant again or is this normal?

It's probably the last of your body cleansing itself. I know it took with all three of my children about two months, for the discharge to stop completely.
I wouldnt be concerned, brown is a good sign, bright red, would probably be your period.
I breastfed all three, and didn't get my period, till they were all over a year old.

Hi there-
First off, did you get your MD's ok to resume sex? How long ago did you start having sex again? Maybe it was too soon?
Also, have you been particularly active? I wanted to loss my pregnancy weight gain right away and started excerising too soon after giving birth. This caused me to bleed longer then normal as well.
If your truly concerned- you should speak to yoru MD- of course.
