HELL NO! My ex did this to me, it wasnt just physical abuse but verbal too, he even use to do it in front of my mates and his. (No matter how low they make you feel your nothing like that so dont think it). I spent 3 years with him on and off I thought I wasnt worthy of anyone else that no one else would love me, I became depressed, drank alot, suicidal BUT now all thats changed I with someone else who adores me, we`re engaged and have a 3 month old baby boy.I wouldn`t change them for the world.
If you become friends old feelings will come up and next thing you know you`ll be seeing a fist coming towards your face. But you dont have to take my advice, but the longer your near this person the more lonely and isolated you`ll feel. Well I hope you make the right decision for you, do what you feels best.
But no matter what you`ll always have your friends and family they love you.

No way! His got issues and unless his had counselling to get over his physco behaviour, he'll always remain the same! Totally denie his friendship and make him realise what his missing, you really don't need to be around someone that had those kind of intentions for you!

I say yes, cuz it is a totally different relationship, hopefully he understands that you are not a couple anymore, and he'll leave it at that. I say this becuz my kids dad beat my *** and I had him locked up. He got out as my friend and we have no problems....just no leading on, remember that.

NO you'd have to be completely stupid or i'd pretend yes lets be friends get him to meet me somewhere and have some male friends in wait and get them to beat 10 bells of sh it outta him that's what i'd do to any man who tried to get beaten up, eiteh rthat or cut his c **** off and make him eat it

I think everyone deserves a second chance,we all have 2 learn by our mistakes and we all make them..just be careful and stand offish from him,dont make it easy for him your worth more than that..
