you had someone in doing your bathroom, only to find out that the clothes in the laundry basket had been rummaged through...i had some builders tiling my bathroom and fitting a shower system, i moved everything out of the bathroom so there was space for them to work...i put my laundry basket in my bedroom out of the way, then i had to pop out for half hour, the last thing i put in there was some bath towels so they were on the top, i noticed that the towels were half way down the basket, and some underwear is now on he top...should i confront them or just keep quiet, after all the basket was in my room...i was going to inform their boss but i really dont know how to deal with this, i really dont want them 2 to come back and finish the bathroom, could i ask for someone else from the same firm to be sent instead of the ones who were here today, i feel quite embarrassed and quite disturbed by this....what do i do?

I would be very embarrassed as well!! I would not tell the company because it will just turn into a joke for all the men that work for the company. I'm sure these men won't be disciplined for their actions and since it's your word against theirs I would(if you feel safe) let them complete the job. Since you mentioned you don't want them to come back I would just call the company and tell them you just don't feel comfortable with the men they chose to come to your house(you don't have to tell them why) and you would feel more comfortable if they could send someone new.

Depending on how big the company is, you have every right to ask for someone else to come out and finish the job. Make sure you are stern with the boss and don't let him get away with doing nothing about this. If you act all 'deer caught in the headlights' he won't take you seriously. Be firm and make sure he follows through with discipline. And builders wonder why they have a reputation.... Hope this doesn't shake you up too much. X

You call the company and complain and demand that someone else finish the job. Don't take no for an answer and if they are reputable you will at the very least get an apology. If they are not prepared to get someone else in don't let the same men back and contact the police or seek legal advise. I run a small company and if that happened here they would be looking for a new job.

I think you should contact the firm and ask for a different set of guys to come to finish the job. Obviously someone has been wandering around your house, intruding on your privacy ad interfering with your panties. Maybe you should also contact the police to see if an offence has been committed.

I would also demand an apology and maybe even something off the bill!

PERVS! You have every right to request that they send something ealse to come and finish up your bathroom! I wouldnt allow these panty sniffers to jerk off on my underwears! call what they are doing is down right rude and ignorant. Its a total invasion of privacy! Its not allowed! Call Call Call show those panty sniffers that your not gonna **** around. Oh and I wouldnt want them coming back to finish of my bathroom either! I would seek some legal advise if they refuse to send someone ealse, and refuse to pay them unless they accomidate your needs!

Absolutely report this to their boss and the better business bureau. Should you find anything stolen, you will need to report it to the police and insurance company. Do not allows these creeps back in your home, especially if you are alone.

You are certain that these are the correct facts? There is no chance that you could be mistaken? Have you paid the company? Perhaps you should seek advice from your local police station.

speak to your contractor or their boss (who ever is in charge). That is 100% unacceptable and their boss should be aware of their dirty laundry business before it leads to worse things. You deserve an apology!

Indeed, confronting the guys themselves would be a bad move; call the company.
