He doesnt understand that girls arent as tough of males...he thinks i should be strong about everything...all I want is a shoulder to cry on sometimes...

Try talking to him in terms of what YOU need rather than in terms of what WOMEN need. The only woman he cares about is you so when you start talking in venus/mars terms, it's going to go over his head. And don't approach it too generally....when you need a hug or a shoulder, be specific and up front. That's what YOU need at THAT particular time.
Remember men are inclined to start throwing out solutions. It's instinct. So if he's telling you to be strong, it's just a solution to some issue you have presented to him. If you're not interested in solutions, only a shoulder, tell him up front that you have the situation under control but you really could use some reassurance.

I dont mean to be rude, but I would like to kind of ask a question and answer a question. I doubt that you will like either one to be honest. Why should he not think that. I mean, women have been screaming how they are equal and just like us, so why expect an exemption. Sort of a double standard, dont you think?
How can a man understand a creator that for the most part cant make up its own mind and often doesnt know what it is thinking itself? Just how can another person understand a woman if she doesnt understand herself?
Next, a woman in my view isnt hard to understand. Sorry, but in my view, women are very easy. Women practice a double standard most of the time. They live in fantasy land as much as reality, they think they are a princess, they have the ability to always be able to tell themselves whatever and justify anything. They always think they are right and God help you if you prove them wrong. Basically the only way to get along with a woman is to give in all the time, and she still wont be happy.
