0.6 divided by 0.01 and the other question I don't get is multiply the following 4x(-9)x(-7)x3x(-3). It has been 25 years since I took algebra, any help would be greatly appreciated.

0.6/0.01 is 60

4x(-9)x(-7)x3x(-3)
the the x stand for multiplication or are they "x" for unknown?

if "x" stands for multiplication then the answer is -2268
if "x" stands for unknown then the answer if -2268X^4 (that means X to the fourth power)

next time, use * for multiplication, not x - or it gets really confusing
