Dear Editor,
My name is Charles Baker Harris(everybody calls me Dill), and I believe that a story about me should be in this fine newspaper. I have been kidnapped, I’ve been to Egypt and I have been locked in a train, I have walked 13 miles with out stopping and I have even ridden an Elephant! Now I have never once met a resident in Maycomb county that can say they have done any of those things! I managed to do that all in the same week to!!! Yes, I do believe I am exciting enough to write not one, but several articles all about me!

I'd suggest you write in the third person, someone representing you, as though a publicist. It sounds more professional, as though you're a person of business and not simply a layman trying to get his 15 minutes of fame.
